This roving is from George, one of our older alpacas. George is a character and has quite a life story. Since he's no longer a 'spring chicken', George isn't as soft as he used to be, This roving is still great for spinning up into yarn for hats, gloves, and outerwear--just not next to the skin like a scarf--or use it for felting. All of our fiber for yarns and roving goes through an extra processing step called 'dehairing' to remove as much of the stiff, pokey primary fibers as possible. Packaged loosein 4 ounce zip lock bags.
